Individualised training at your own pace

We now offer a variety of online courses

We are converting some of our popular on-site and Zoom-based training programs and workshops into online courses that can be purchased topic by topic, or as bundled offerings. All course offerings aim to give focused information helpful in exploring and developing hydrocarbon reservoirs, potash, lithium and base metal deposits formed in saline geosystems.

Signing up for an online course offers several advantages. First, it provides the extra flexibility inherent in online learning; you choose when, where, and how you want to learn, and you set the pace. Access it across your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Pause the video or rewind to improve your understanding of relevant points or groups of points. Download relevant articles from the course material and view additional videos. This means more effective time management for you and other members of your team that have signed up for a course or two.

You always have a direct line of communication with the instructor and can ask questions via email or in face-to-face chats with the instructor.

Our listed courses are priced for individual enrollment, but we offer a discounted bundled subscription to corporate clients with ten or more participants in a class. Online course contents can be modified to suit the needs of a corporate client. Corporate courses have completely secure sets of course contents and course-specific discussion groups. All aspects of a corporate course are separate from a single enrollment course. Contact us for our corporate pricing.

Extras

To aid in global communication between like-minded people interested in saline geosystems, you get full access to a Salty Community board when you enrol on our course web page (Click here for more information on the Salty Community board). Access to the Salty Matters Community Group comes with enrolment in any free online course or when you enrol in one of our growing list of paid courses. In addition to a general Salty community board, you can access course-specific community boards in a paid course.

In a paid course, you also receive all the other benefits, including access to all the self-paced lecture videos, various other information videos, downloads and pdfs, and questionnaires to test your understanding of each of the main course topics. There are also real-time tutorial sessions across various issues raised in a paid course (via Zoom). On completing a paid course, you also receive a certificate of completion.
